Love the filter element...as it has lots of filtering area in small package because it is folded. Some what complicated to install, particularly the plastic forks which hold the fan folds in position. Performs well.
All the filters I ordered, while received in OK condition, split the factory boxes they were originally sold it...ie, came apart at the seams. In order to store them for future use, I had to duct tape the protective boxes back together.

We bought the present house 5 years and I have been using these filter from day one. My Wife has a breathing problem and after cleaning all the ducts and using this filter system the air in the whole house is great.I replaced the furnace and AC system the first week of ownership, my installer said I had the best filter system out. I have used this guy for two houses and trust him.He was right again, he even told me to buy my filters from you as they are at a better price and knows I change them every 4 month for her health reasons. I'm retired and do a ton of woodworking as a hobby and building new cabinets for every room in the house, this makes a ton of dust. I have two hepa filter systems in the work shop down stairs and use a two door system getting in and out of the shop, plus have different cloths for working on my/her projects. So you see air quality for her is second to none in my list of things I require.[...]

This product is the same quality anywhere as it is an Aprilaire product. It is easy to change yourself. There is even a video on their web site that is great! I love our Aprilaire, and I switched out the filter in about five minutes. These filters help keep our furnace and AC in good working order since we have two cats. Nothing beats a touch of humidity in the winter, since we had very dry air from an older heating system. For summer, the air inside seems mostly pollen free, and when I have allergies, I notice they are less when I am inside and we are running the AC.

The filter is a little bit of a problem to install with all the pleat separators that you have to fit in place. The filter is super efficient and has super capacity. it is possible to remove the filter, shake, brush or blow it out and put it back into service thereby extending the replacement interval

Does a great job of filtering dust from our home even in our home that is 25 years old. Does take a few minutes longer to install than the "standard" cheaper filters you can get at discount stores but those will NEVER do the job that this filter does! I believe it pays for itself.

Every time my furnace/AC got its semi-annual checkup, I had been charged $90 for them to change the air filter. I finally found your company and the helpful video on HOW to change the filter. This is the exact same name brand filter that my HVAC maintenance contract provides except the company I use charges so much extra for the filter and here I get two filters for less than the price of one. I will always install my own filters now. It is a little tricky at first but if you separate the filter pleats evenly, it doesn't take much time.

I tried ordering the knock-off filters to save a few bucks and was completely disappointed. The quality of the knock-offs was horrific as glue got between the folds and it ended up causing rips in the filter. These hold up well and are definitely worth the few extra dollars.

I ordered these to replace existing Aprilaire filter. Easy to change out using simple instructions. Only rated four stars because they've only been in a week, but no reason to expect problems. Next year i may get the filter upgrade kit since replacing these was so easy.

Perfect replacement for the original but... you can easily upgrade to a more efficient and reusable filter to fit the same opening. It's always been a pain to install the replacement, trying to get all those little fingers in between each fold of the filter, so just washing out a replaceable, more efficient model makes a lot of sense. I have replaced mine after years of buying these. Saves money and agravation. Check out lifetime electrostatic filters.
