I originally purchased filters that were made by the Furnace manufacturer at a ridiculously out of sight cost - I hit the internet comparing the filter to what was available. My air cleaner box is made by Skuttle but the Trion Air Bear filters were listed as the same size and, on some sites, as compatible. Trion Air Bear filters are lower in cost so I tried them. They fit fine and work comparably to the Skuttle filters I was using. The Skuttle filters I have are several years old and current construction may not be the same but I think they have better regidity between pleats than the Trion Air Bear filters - not enough to pay the extra price however.
