Installed as replacement to failed OEM solenoid in 1997 Kenmore ColdSpot Refrig when the water stopped dispensing out the door slot. Ice maker was still working, but entire valve had to be replaced. I installed it to 1/4 " copper inlet. Very quick installation and so far works great. Major retailer wanted three time what it was on this site.

Replacement valve installed easily (after I got the right one). Generic replacement, so had lots of unneeded spare parts (good for the "I may need it someday" parts box).

[...] Lots of screws, brackets, hoses etc. Ironically, I didn't need any of it as it fit exactly to how the original was installed. Everything lined up with the current hoses and brackets. Very easy to install. On a small Con, of the 2 regulators, (water dispenser / Ice maker) the ice regulator is rather noisy - unlike that of the water dispenser requlator. Overall, to date, I am very pleased.

WE HAVE A WHIRLPOOL FRIG, WITH WATER AND ICE IN THE DOOR. I CALLED WHIRLPOOL AND GAVE THEM THE MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER OF MY FRIG AND THEY TOLD ME THE PART NUMBER I NEEDED. I ORDERED IT, BUT IT WAS NOT RIGHT. THEY SAID I COULDN'T RETURN THE PART, BUT DID CREDIT MY MONEY BACK. MY HUSBAND FOUND YOUR WEB SITE AND AND FOUND EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED-AND ALOT LESS EXPENSIVE THAN WHIRLPOOL. IT TOOK ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO TAKE THE OLD ONE OFF AND PUT THIS NEW ONE ON. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM [...]. THANKS SO MUCH.
