I thought it was real chrome. When I tried to open it up to replace the filter I couldn't get it to budge. I used a pair of pliers covered with duct tape so it wouldn't damage the surface. It damaged the surface anyway because it's not real metal, but plastic to look like chrome. I think that's a misconception that must be remedied. Say it's 'Chrome colored" but made of plastic. Don'' think it will last that long since it's not made of actual metal

This is a great shower head. It was very easy to install.There are plenty of settings and the difference I can feel on my skin and hair are amazing.

I just feel cleaner after I get out of the shower now. My skin is softer and just feels better. The pressure is great and if you can't find a spray you like from all the different choices then you never will. Great product!
